One source. Different cuts. One shared fix.

Same Cut

Support, operations, and privacy

What edits are supported?

Up to three variants, eight ranges per variant, and eight common deletions. A range can be moved, repeated, or removed. Fit keeps the whole image with padding; center crop is an explicit per-variant choice.

Why might a file be rejected?

This beta rejects unsupported codecs, extra tracks, rotated video, HDR or unknown HDR status, non-square pixels, oversized media, and browsers without the required WebCodecs encoders. Video must start at zero; audio start and end must align within 100 ms. Rejection uses media metadata, not filenames or file hashes, and happens locally.

What leaves this page?

Your video, filename, and edit choices are not uploaded. The editor blocks network API connections and adds no analytics, ads, cookies, or browser storage. Loading the page and its static code still contacts the hosting provider, which may keep ordinary request logs such as your IP address. Closing, reloading, or navigating away discards the project.

What if encoding stalls or fails?

Cancel and retry. A dedicated local worker owns each media job. Encoding stops automatically after two minutes; source checking stops after 30 seconds. Cancel, source replacement, or leaving the page terminates the worker, including a stalled encoder or finalizer. Failed or outdated results are never offered as current downloads. WebM uses millisecond timestamps: cuts that leave shorter video frame remnants or duplicate timestamps are rejected; adjust the boundary and retry.
